The Organization for People’s Health in Action (OPHA) is an independent, non-governmental, non-political and non-profit organization dedicated to the development of Afghanistan. OPHA focuses on implementing projects in healthcare, community development, capacity building, and the empowerment of women and youth.
OPHA was established in October 2017, and is officially registered with the Ministry of Economy. The organization is currently delivering essential healthcare services in Laghman & Paktika provinces.
OPHA is going to start a new project (Integrated primary health and nutrition services in the area of return for returnees and host communities in Nangarhar and Laghman provinces) under 5th Reserve Allocation Return, funded by AHF-OCHA.

General Responsibilities:
The overall scope of work for Health Supervisor is planning, implementing, supervision, monitoring, data verification/cross check and following up of health programs and activities service delivery of project in Nangarhar & Laghman provinces in line with the project standards and work plan
Specific Duties:
The project Health Supervisor is responsible for accurate, consistent, and reliable recording and reporting systems in the relevant SHCs. S/He will monitor the SHCs during the month to:
A. M&E
B. Quality of Health Services:
Implement the quality assurance/improvement initiatives and approaches (HQIP, IP, waste management, etc.) in the assigned SHCs s including all phases (planning, implementation and evaluation) where applicable.
