Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and organized Surveyor/Scope Registration Officer to join our team. This dual-role position involves conducting field surveys and managing the scope registration process for the project. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience with data collection tools, preferably ODK Data Collect as well as SCOPE Registration. As a Surveyor/Scope Registration Officer, you will be responsible for gathering accurate data, ensuring proper registration of project beneficiary through scope, and maintaining the integrity of collected information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with local communities (CFACs) and respondents to facilitate accurate data collection.
  • Conduct Door to Door Beneficiaries Verification and ensure adherence to FSAC and WFP’s vulnerabilities criteria.
  • Providing Information regarding the Project and vulnerability criteria to the beneficiaries.
  • Utilize mobile data collection tool (ODK) to gather accurate and reliable beneficiary’s data and upload in a daily base.
  • Manage overall possible community conflict which may happen.
  • Timely reporting and proper documentation.
  • Organize the registration of Verified beneficiaries through SCOPE platform.
  • Issuing ration cards to the beneficiaries.
  • Preparing beneficiaries photos and case studies to support donors on telling beneficiary stories.
  • Ensure the integrity and security of collected data.
  • Perform regular quality checks to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify and rectify any inconsistencies or errors in the collected data, and rectify SCOPE data errors or duplication.
  • Present findings to project manager in a clear and concise manner.
  • Work closely with project manager and other team members to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Able to perform duties in hard to reach areas.
  • Adhere to ethical guidelines and best practices for data collection and privacy.
  • Any other task given by project manager.

Job Requirements

Skills/Qualifications:

Education: High School Graduate, Bachelor in relevant field is preferred.

Experience: at least two years working experience in related field preferably in WFP Projects.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in mobile data collection tool (e.g., ODK Data Collect), and Knowledge of beneficiary registration in WFP’s SCOPE Platform, Excellent English Typing skill is mandatory.

Computer Literacy: Excellent working knowledge of MS Office tools (Preferably MS Excel).

Physical Requirements: Ability to work in various field conditions and in hard to reach areas.

Language: Knowledge of local languages and working knowledge of English. cultural practices in the survey area is an advantage.
