Project Summary:
The purpose of Afghanistan Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Activity (AMELA) is to provide monitoring, evaluation, and learning support services/assistance to strengthen the implementation of USAID development programs in Afghanistan, and to build the technical monitoring and evaluation (M&E) knowledge and skills of USAID/Afghanistan Mission staff and stakeholders. The services provided under AMELA will contribute to supporting USAID/Afghanistan as an effective development organization with strong learning and adaptive management processes. Assistance for Families and Indigent Afghans to Thrive (AFIAT) aims to improve health outcomes for the Afghan people, particularly for women of childbearing age and children under five years of age in rural and peri-urban parts of the country.
Position Summary:
The AFIAT Researcher will assist with data collection, including conducting interviews and identifying potential respondents under the oversight of the AMELA technical team and the direction of the Team Lead. The Researcher will also assist with data analysis as needed. The estimated level of effort for this position is up to 40 days. This position will not require travel.
