The head office of the organization is in Kabul, Afghanistan, and delivers humanitarian services in the sectors of Livelihood, Good Governance, WASH, and Emergency through its four regional offices in Mazar, Herat, Jalalabad, and the central zone in a decentralized manner.

Job Descriptions:

  • Coordinate the implementation of the livelihood’s interventions in the project areas.
  • Provide technical support to the implementation of livelihoods activities.
  • Monitor activities progress ensuring goals and objectives are achieved within the given timeframe and approved budget.
  • Prepare and submit annual and/or quarterly purchase plan and follow up the timely delivery of inputs.
  • Plan logistics of distributing inputs and other provisions to beneficiaries.
  • Conduct regular field visits and meetings with local authorities and communities’ leaders and direct beneficiaries.
  • Prepare project reports as required by the supervisors in a timely manner.
  • Oversee implementation of project activities and ensure that project targets and grant objectives are met.
     
  • Ensure that Gender Equality (GE) is integrated as an effective cross-cutting theme into the project, and that all GE activities respond to RRAA’s GE policy
  • Ensure that proper community development practices and “Do No Harm” practices are incorporated and upheld throughout the planning and implementation of the project.
  • Develop and implement monthly work plans and M&E plans pertaining to livelihoods activities
  • Implement the project’s performance measurement plan that includes collection of periodic data for tracking livelihoods project progress and performance.
  • Visit project sites to track progress and ensure proper implementation of project activities
  • Document project activities, project updates, future plans, success stories, achievements, best practices and lessons learned.
  • Review and provide feedback to monitoring and evaluation reports as well as acting on findings from the monitoring data.
  • Organize and conduct reflective learning events (meetings, workshops) internally and externally with project initiative stakeholders including government
  • Supervise Vocational Skill trainers.
  • Active capacity-building, Vocational Skill trainers throughout the duration of the project
  • Effective communication with project staff to ensure staff understand their roles and responsibilities, and can successfully perform their duties
  • Establish and maintain communication mechanisms with government, partners, communities and other stakeholders.
  • providing market linkage of beneficiaries to the local markets.
  • Other tasks that assigned by the line manager.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social science or any other relevant field
  • Minimum 3 year of experience in social activities Exceptional communication interpersonal skills including active listening skills
  • Previous experience in similar position with national or international NGOs
  • Ability to speak in National languages (Dari & Pashtu) and English Language.
  • Good report writing and presentation skills.
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft office package (MS Word, Power point, Excel)

Should be a teamwork and problem solver and should possess good communication skills
