The head office of the organization is in Kabul, Afghanistan, and delivers humanitarian services in the sectors of Livelihood, Good Governance, WASH, and Emergency through its four regional offices in Mazar, Herat, Jalalabad, and the central zone in a decentralized manner.

Job Description

  • Provides overall supervision support to the social workers on social services either in individual or group formats trough on –site coaching.
  • Provides guidance and advice on case management and developing care plans of the UAMSC.
  • Tracks and traces social workers’ performance in handling and managing cases.
  • Ensures that Registration Forms, case profiles and post Reunification Forms are properly filled out as well as other relevant documents are kept in filing system and their data are entered in designed database of the project.
  • Ensures provision bye the Psychosocial Officer of debriefing sessions /group counseling of all UAMs transported from the border to the Gazargah Transit Camp before transferring them to their respective families.
  • Ensure that post –reunification monitoring is done by social workers.
  • Coordinates and arranges case –conferences when needed with the relevant organizations and directorates in RRAA.
  • Attends all supervisory meetings, team planning meetings and curriculum meetings scheduled by Project Manager.
  • Closely coordinates and communicates with RRAA, Provincial DoRRs , DoLSA /CPAN and other stakeholders.
  • Closely coordinates with RRAA Monitoring and Evaluation Department on M&E requirements of the project.
  • Updates the Project Manager on the progress of project activities.
  • Prepares and submits weekly and monthly reports to the Project Manager.
  • Contribute to creating a culture committed to the safeguarding of children and adults and compliant with RRAA’s child safeguarding and Adults Risk policies.

Any other related tasks assigned by the line manager

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in social science.
  • Minimum 3 year working experience in social activities
  • Exceptional communication interpersonal skills including active listening skills
  • ability to allocate and review and priorities to meet the deadlines.
  • ability to identify problems and solutions.
  • Able to work independently with little supervision.
  • Reliable, trustworthy and committed to team’s success.
  • Ability to speak in National languages (Dari & Pashtu) and English ( High Intermediate level)
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft office package (MS Word, Power point, Excel)
