Duties and Responsibilities:

• The gardener will ensure gardens and outside areas of the Office and staff Accommodation are well maintained and ensure seasonal planting of new trees, greases, flowers, and various plants as required
• The gardener will clean and maintain all sidewalks and yards outside the office
• The gardener will ensure that all garden equipment is correctly maintained and serviced. Request new equipment and tools including fertilizer and plant foods as required for timely replenishment by the office Admin Unit
• The gardener will produce various designs and layouts of garden landscapes
• Maintain a clean garden by clearing rubbish and litter from the garden and grounds
• Provide guidance to management of matters related to the garden
• Advise management on the costs of plants and garden necessities with detailed written quotations and reports.
• Ensure a safe environment for staff and clients by adhering to safety and health regulations.
• Perform basic maintenance such as cutting the grass, emptying bins, managing weed control, and leaf raking.
• Plant and nurture new trees, flowers, and various plants.
• Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Baccalaureate degree is required.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional working experience in a similar position in a national or international NGO.
• Languages: Proficiency in both national languages and English language is advantage
• Self-Motivated, Quick learner with a positive attitude.
• Cooperative and team-working skills
• Being flexible regarding working hours.
• Disciplined, honest, professional, and hard worker.
