CFS Facilitator

Rural Rehabilitation Association for Afghanistan (RRAA) is a   non-profit, non-governmental, and non-political NGO established in 1990. The head office of the organization is in Kabul, Afghanistan and delivers humanitarian services in the sectors of WASH, Good Governance, and Livelihood through its regional offices in Mazar, Herat, Jalalabad, and central zone in a decentralized manner.

• Support children ‘s play and entertainment during the allocated time
• Ensure safety and wellbeing of the children at the CFS and as well as the environment
• Daily visual assessment of the children and ensure children feel comfortable and resected there
• Ensure children’s attendance and participation to the activities identify the vulnerable children cases and keep record and established practical referral mechanism to support the need of children.
• Ensure that all games and equipment are available and counted at the end of the day and ensure children are using the games and equipment in a proper way and rotation system.
• Play a vital role in setting up and running recreational l activates for children using various individual and team games, and storytelling enabling access to information, child protection message.
• Monitor protection needs of children as well as gaps in the child friendly space and prepare appropriate response to it.
• Hold regular communication with line manager to keep him /her informed of any developments or problems within the CFS and surrounding areas Adhere to all procedures and code of conducts that ensures transparency, services and accountability to beneficiaries and report any abuse of breaches to line manager and /or security manager.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly Activity Reports to the Security Officer and or project manager.

• Bachelor’s degree in social science or any other relevant field
• Minimum 2 year of experience in social activities
• experience in working with Child Friendly Space
• Previous experience in similar position with national or international NGOs
• Ability to allocate and prioritize to meet the deadlines.
