Job Descriptions:

Position holder will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring that building engineering works are in excellent working condition all the time to facilitate the bank operation and administration, including maintenance of offices building, premises and Guesthouses.
  • Drawing Architecture plan for New branches or any more area needed
  • Providing necessary support to facilitate mobilization of repair and maintenance contractors and other ad hoc manual workers.
  • Regular inspection of departments and Branches and reporting of any thief, loss or damage to the bank.
  • Responsible for Managing Technicians, Drivers and office boys and considering their request and leaves
  • Developing and monitoring of a building specific preventative maintenance schedule and management of contractors performing maintenance works within the building.
  • Supervising the minor electrical repairs such as changing bulbs, burnt fuses, sockets, day repairs of building, office equipment and furniture.
  • Liaise with branch managers to ensure safety, business continuity and compliance are preserved within the building whilst projects / works and maintenance activities are being undertaken.
  • Conduct annual building and asset audits and present building asset reports based on the audit data in a timely manner.
  • Assisting the management in planning and development of new offices.
  • Monitoring quality and economical use of office supplies, and maintenance of adequate stock.
  • Receiving and responding to all maintenance related requests and queries in timely manner.
  • Responsible for processing Maintenance expense from Head office and branches
  • Responsible for monitoring the shifting and constructing process of offices.
  • Maintaining record files and keeping relevant records updated in both soft and hard form as per policy. Keeping all the records prepared for audit and successfully achieving the audit objectives.
  • Assisting in development, implementation and evaluation of admin department’s budgets, policies and procedures & highlighting the recommendation for obtaining approvals accordingly.
  • Collecting and analyzing data, preparing reports and presenting recommendations to department heads for application of cutting-edge approaches and methodologies in the problem areas.
  • Responsibilities and duties of the position holder can be modified according to the needs and requirements of the organization and work.
  • Any task allocated by head and deputy head of GAD.

Job Requirements:

Required qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor’s in Engineering faculty
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience preferably in Maintenance field
  • Impeccable communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Good Computer skills, Auto Cad is mandatory  
  • Supervisory experience
  • Writing and Reading ability in English, Dari and Pashto languages
