progress for women and girls in Afghanistan. RRSWO acts on the fundamental premise that women and girls have the right to live a life free of discrimination, violence and poverty, and that gender equality is central to achieving development with reach, sizable expertise and significant resources. For too long, women have been forced to stand on the sidelines, whether the issue is political leadership, safety in conflict zones, protection from violence or access to public services. Now women must come to the centre as leaders, advocates and agents of change.

Job Description:

Assist the project team and monitoring officer in the overall implementation and management of monitoring, evaluation, impact assessment and information management for a high quality, innovative and effective learning program.

Common Responsibilities

  • Conduct needs assessments to identify baseline situation of the learning and capacity building needs of response staff,
  • Develop outputs and outcomes, and establish training targets which link to project activities,
  • Develop a performance monitoring framework to measure progress, effectiveness and achievement of expected results, specifying qualitative and quantitative indicators, data sources, and collection methods,
  •  Establish and support the implementation of a data management system to inform planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation,
  •  Work with project staff to ensure accountability systems are in place that engage beneficiaries and stakeholders in evaluations, impact assessments and research,
  •  Undertake regular visits (60% monthly) to field locations to support monitoring, evaluation, impact assessment processes and accountability processes,
  • Monitor, document and report the progress of program activities against agreed indicators and the impact of program to inform overall program strategy,
  • Manage dashboards and databases based on request from each section,
  • Collect accurate and timely data of program activities and utilize project management cycle to reflect and analyze results and feedback, develop best practices, and implement lessons learned back into the project,
  • Prepare reports as required on the programming activities for internal, donor and beneficiary community

reporting.

  • Any other related activities assign by line manager.

Job Requirements:


Education:

at least Bachelor business administration, law , education or MEAL field  and 3 Years’ experience in M&E field with international organization in Afghanistan.

Required Skills :

  • Experience and knowledge of monitoring, evaluation and needs/impact assessment methods
    Skills in implementing information management and performance measurement frameworks.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure
  • Proven analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in local (Pashto and Dari) language and good written and spoken English.
  • Computer skill, particularly with Microsoft Excel and Word, and ability to use computer programs to collect, document and share assessment and monitoring results.
  • Willing to be able to travel within project area/districts.
