progress for women and girls in Afghanistan. RRSWO acts on the fundamental premise that women and girls have the right to live a life free of discrimination, violence and poverty, and that gender equality is central to achieving development with reach, sizable expertise and significant resources. For too long, women have been forced to stand on the sidelines, whether the issue is political leadership, safety in conflict zones, protection from violence or access to public services. Now women must come to the centre as leaders, advocates and agents of change.

Job Descriptions:

Providing technical assistance to RRSWO education programs and assisting sites in implementing a balanced education program through demonstration lessons and by providing concrete written feedback following each site visit.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Providing technical assistance to RRSWO education programs;
  • Assisting sites in implementing a balanced education program through demonstration lessons and by providing concrete written feedback following each site visit;
  • Develop curriculum (i.e., sample lesson plans) as needed;
  • Providing training in all components of educations to relevant staff as and when required;
  • Creating a continual system of quality improvement feedbacks;
  • Conduct regular monitoring and assist in education program evaluation;
  • Accessing and/or developing resources for program use (e.g., manuals, how-to instructions, exemplars, etc.);
  • Provide educational leadership to teachers working within the Institute,
  • Coordinate and ensure quality of educational activities and set high standards in all educational services offered to students enrolled.
  • Oversee educational research aimed at providing new and innovative directions for learning within the Institute.
  • Coordinate the collection of teaching resources and compile into set manuals forms ready for publication.
  • Identify present and future needs within the Institution and plan, develop and modify facilities, programs and services offered to students.
  • Manage and evaluate teachers course material and undertake teachers assessments.
  • Organize monthly staff meetings.
  • Arrange to meet with students once every three months in order to receive some feedback from them in regard to both the Institute and its performance.
  • Prepare or oversee the preparation of reports and information papers.
  • Manage the provision of education in rural areas.
  • Any other responsibilities assign by line manager.
