Job Description
Position Summary
ELCS is cognizant of the situation on the ground and realizes the grave need for the knowledge and expertise of local subject matter experts to contribute to improving the humanitarian situation on the ground. ELCS has been active on the ground, working with international organizations and humanitarian actors on multiple fronts. In light of humanitarian crisis in the country, ELCS continues to offer intensive courses to upgrade the knowledge and skills of humanitarian practitioners who are engaged in multiple sectors. The Company therefore seeks resumes from subject matter experts/Master Trainers in the following subject areas:
Title of Training:
- Data Analysis and Assessment Methodology (Urgent)
- Public Health in Complex Emergencies
- Risk Management and Contingency Planning
- Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS)
- Result Based Management
- Effective Business Communication
- Wash in Complex Emergencies
- Disaster Management (Preparedness, Response, and Recovery)
- Prevention and Sexual Exploitation Abuse (PSEA) in Humanitarian Situation
- Managing Public Health Emergencies
- International Humanitarian Law and Humanitarian Principles
- Delivery of Humanitarian Projects use of principled approach
- Third-Party Monitoring (TPM) including Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) and Supervision
- Proposal Writing including Writing for Grants
- Population Surveys and Needs assessments including humanitarian needs assessment, health and nutrition assessment, assessment of WASH facilities, Market assessment
- RMNCAH of Emergency Affected population
- Data Management and Visualization
- Management of Nutrition Programs/Interventions
- Risk Communication and Community Engagement
- GIS and Remote Monitoring
- Migration and Displacement Management

Job Requirements
Education and Qualification
- A Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred; a Bachelor’s degree will be considered with exceptional experience.
- Extensive knowledge of the humanitarian context, particularly the complexities of working in Afghanistan.
- Strong understanding of local challenges and conditions impacting operational work in the field.
- Insight into the professional development needs of humanitarian actors involved in fieldwork.
- Proven expertise in training design, including course development and structure.
- Demonstrated ability to create effective training materials, including case studies, exercises, and assessment tools.
- At least 5 years of experience delivering training to mid- and senior-level professionals.
- A minimum of 7-10 years of relevant work experience in the areas listed above.
- Proven track record of collaboration with both international and local organizations in the relevant sector.
- Experience leading similar projects independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong background in leading the design, delivery, and evaluation of short, intensive training and capacity-building programs.
- Experience working with private sector entities, as well as national and international organizations.
