Emerging Leaders Consulting Services (ELCS) is a dynamic research and business consulting firm, differentiated by experience, business integrity, and innovation. ELCS scope of engagement spans across several sectors, namely public health, education/higher education, mining, agriculture, private sector development, conflict and humanitarian emergencies, and environment. Since establishment in 2008, ELCS has worked with international organizations, development partners, diplomatic missions, and government institutions across seven sectors. ELCS specialized competencies include program design and management, research and survey design, operational research, humanitarian needs assessment, health and nutrition assessments, market assessment, monitoring and evaluation including third-party monitoring, organizational development, social and environmental assessment, and implementation science.  Since establishment in 2008, ELCS has worked with over 50 international clients and partners, development partners, international organizations, and diplomatic missions. ELCS is one of the established training service providers in the country with over 16 years of successful track record offering intensive courses across several disciplines inside the country and abroad.

Position Summary

ELCS is cognizant of the situation on the ground and realizes the grave need for the knowledge and expertise of local subject matter experts to contribute to improving the humanitarian situation on the ground. ELCS has been active on the ground, working with international organizations and humanitarian actors on multiple fronts. In light of humanitarian crisis in the country, ELCS continues to offer intensive courses to upgrade the knowledge and skills of humanitarian practitioners who are engaged in multiple sectors. The Company therefore seeks resumes from subject matter experts/Master Trainers in the following subject areas:

Title of Training:

1. Data Analysis and Assessment Methodology (Urgent)
2. Public Health in Complex Emergencies 
3. Risk Management and Contingency Planning
4. Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS)
5. Result Based Management
6. Effective Business Communication
7. Wash in Complex Emergencies
8. Disaster Management (Preparedness, Response, and Recovery)
9. Prevention and Sexual Exploitation Abuse (PSEA) in Humanitarian Situation
10. Managing Public Health Emergencies
11. International Humanitarian Law and Humanitarian Principles
12. Delivery of Humanitarian Projects use of principled approach
13. Third-Party Monitoring (TPM) including Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) and Supervision
14. Proposal Writing including Writing for Grants
15. Population Surveys and Needs assessments including humanitarian needs assessment, health and nutrition assessment, assessment of WASH facilities, Market assessment
16. RMNCAH of Emergency Affected population
17. Data Management and Visualization
18. Management of Nutrition Programs/Interventions

Education and Qualification

• A Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred; a Bachelor’s degree will be considered with exceptional experience.
• Extensive knowledge of the humanitarian context, particularly the complexities of working in Afghanistan.
• Strong understanding of local challenges and conditions impacting operational work in the field.
• Insight into the professional development needs of humanitarian actors involved in fieldwork.
• Proven expertise in training design, including course development and structure.
• Demonstrated ability to create effective training materials, including case studies, exercises, and assessment tools.
• At least 5 years of experience delivering training to mid- and senior-level professionals.
• A minimum of 7-10 years of relevant work experience in the areas listed above.
• Proven track record of collaboration with both international and local organizations in the relevant sector.
• Experience leading similar projects independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong background in leading the design, delivery, and evaluation of short, intensive training and capacity-building programs.
• Experience working with private sector entities, as well as national and international organizations.
