Job Description
- Site Management: Oversee the day-to-day activities of construction sites, ensuring work is being completed according to design specifications, quality standards, and
- safety requirements.
- Construction Monitoring: Monitor the progress of the construction projects, ensuring adherence to the project timeline, scope, and budget.
- Field Surveys and Inspections: Conduct regular field surveys and inspections to ensure construction is in line with the design and regulations.
- Coordination with Contractors: Coordinate with contractors, construction teams, and local authorities to ensure smooth operations.
- Quality Control: Ensure the implementation of quality control procedures on-site and that all work is performed in compliance with OCCD’s standards.
- Technical Assistance: Provide technical assistance to site workers and contractors to address any issues or challenges that arise during construction.
- Reporting: Prepare regular progress reports, including work completed, challenges faced, and any recommendations for corrective actions.
- Health and Safety: Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment on-site.
- Material Management: Ensure that construction materials are properly managed, stored, and utilized effectively, minimizing waste.
- Project Documentation: Maintain and update all project documentation, including daily site reports, progress reports, and incident logs.
Job Requirements
- Degree in civil Engineering
- Proficiency in Pashto, Dari, and preferably English
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) And AutoCAD
- At least 4 years of experience in construction and sit management
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to travel to filed Locations as needed
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of construction techniques and materials
