1. Introduction

The Society Empowerment Organization is seeking a qualified and experienced Web Developer & Designer to design, develop, and maintain a fully functional, user-friendly, and visually appealing website that aligns with our organizational goals. The developer will be responsible for ensuring an intuitive user experience, optimizing performance, and integrating necessary features for accessibility, responsiveness, and security.

2. Objectives

The primary objectives of this assignment are:

• To design and develop a responsive, user-friendly, and aesthetically appealing website.
• To ensure optimal performance, security, and SEO optimization.
• To integrate necessary features such as forms, payment gateways, and interactive elements.
• To maintain and provide technical support for troubleshooting and updates.

3. Scope of Work

The Web Developer & Designer will undertake the following tasks:

A. Web Design & Development

• Design a visually attractive and responsive website layout.
• Develop a customized website using appropriate technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, WordPress, etc.).
• Ensure mobile-friendliness and cross-browser compatibility.
• Implement SEO best practices for improved search engine ranking.
• Create and integrate interactive elements (forms, chatbots, animation, etc.).

B. Content Management & Functionality

• Develop a Content Management System (CMS) or customize an existing CMS like WordPress.
• Provide a user-friendly admin dashboard for easy content updates.
• Ensure website security, implement SSL, firewalls, and backups.
• Integrate necessary plugins, APIs, and third-party tools.
• Set up e-commerce, donation, or membership features if required.

C. Maintenance & Technical Support

• Provide post-launch support, bug fixes, and updates.
• Optimize website speed and performance.
• Conduct monthly website health checks.
• Train relevant staff on basic content updates and management.

4. Deliverables

The consultant is expected to provide:

1. Website Design Prototypes (wireframes and mockups).
2. A fully functional live website with integrated features.
3. Documentation (user manual for website management).
4. Training session for staff (if applicable).
5. Ongoing support and maintenance for an agreed period.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Proven experience in web development and design.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and CMS platforms.
• Experience in UI/UX design and SEO best practices.
• Expertise in responsive and mobile-friendly design.
• Familiarity with e-commerce, security protocols, and performance optimization.
• Ability to provide post-development support.
