Finally, it has sold over US$ 5,000,000 of Afghan artisan products internationally. 

Job Descriptions:

1. Job Summary:
The Computer Teacher is responsible for teaching basic computer skills, including the Windows operating system, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), web search, using internet and other essential computer programs. The teacher will also handle classroom management, curriculum development and planning, student assessments, provide basic IT support to the Bamiyan office and administrative tasks to ensure an effective learning environment.
2. Key Duties and Responsibilities:
A. Teaching & Student Development
•    Teach students Windows OS, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and basic computer applications, and usage of internet. 
•    Create age-appropriate lesson plans and update the curriculum regularly.
•    Identify and implement varied teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
•    Assign special projects and encourage creativity in students.
•    Evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, and class participation, and provide constructive feedback.
•    Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessments.
•    Prepare students’ progress reports, as per the project timeline or when asked by line manager. 
B. Classroom & Equipment Management
•    Maintain discipline and order in the classroom while following TM policies on student behavior.
•    Ensure computer equipment is functioning properly and keep an updated inventory of supplies.
•    Ensure all classroom hardware and software are up to date and backed up regularly.
•    Monitor internet usage in the classroom to ensure it is used only for educational purposes.
C. Administrative & School Support Tasks
•    Participate in departmental meetings and school-wide training events.
•    Conduct research to develop and enhance the curriculum and teaching methods.
•    Provide appropriate learning resources and ensure students have access to necessary materials.
•    Conduct the attendance of students on daily basis.
•    Perform any other tasks assigned by the line manager.

 

Job Requirements:

3. Qualifications & Experience:
•    Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
•    Minimum 3 years of experience in teaching, preferred in computer subjects. 
•    Proficiency in Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and essential computer applications.
•    Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
•    Ability to create engaging lesson plans and assessments.
•    Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting basic computer hardware and software issues.
