Job Descriptions:

1. Job Summary:
The preschool teacher is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment for children under six-year-old. This role involves implementing lesson plans, managing classroom activities, fostering social and cognitive development, and maintaining positive relationships with children and parents. The teacher will also ensure a clean, safe, and structured learning space while adhering to health and safety regulations.

2. Key Duties and Responsibilities:
•    Classroom Management & Child Development
•    Establish and enforce rules of behavior to maintain a positive learning environment.
•    Plan and implement age-appropriate learning and play activities to support child development.
•    Manage daily classroom routines, including lessons, playtime, breaks, and meals.
•    Encourage children to interact with each other to develop communication and social skills.
•    Track and report children’s progress to parents, addressing any concerns about development.
•    Help children reach important developmental milestones through structured activities.
Teaching & Learning Support
•    Adapt teaching methods and materials to suit different learning styles and interests.
•    Teach Math, Language and basic Islamic studies to children.
•    Facilitate songs, games, and storytelling to engage children in learning.
•    Provide tools and resources for exploration and discovery during play activities.
•    Collaborate with other teachers and staff to implement lesson plans effectively.
Safety & Classroom Maintenance
•    Maintain a clean, and organized classroom at all times.
•    Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of children by following sanitation procedures.
•    Always provide appropriate supervision to ensure a safe environment.
•    Maintain an inventory system for classroom materials and supplies.

Parent & Staff Coordination
•    Develop and maintain positive relationships with children and parents.
•    Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress and needs.
•    Cooperate with school management and staff in other office-related activities when required.
•    Be willing to work overtime if needed to support school events and activities.


 

Job Requirements:

3. Qualifications & Experience:
•    Bachelor’s degree in education, Psychology, or a related field (preferred).
•    3 years of experience working as a preschool, kindergarten teacher or worked with Children. 
•    Knowledge of child development, Child psychology, classroom management, and early childhood teaching methods.
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children and parents.
•    Ability to create engaging and interactive learning activities.
•    Understanding health and safety regulations of children.
