Who we are: NQA is a non-governmental, non-political and non-profit organization. NQA is dedicated to the advancement of education and health in remote and neglected regions of Afghanistan, with a specific focus on and commitment towards women and girls.

Job Description
Position Overview:
The Graphic Designer & Content Editor at Nai Qala Association (NQA) creates compelling visual and multimedia content, ensuring brand consistency across all platforms. This role manages design, video production, photography, and ethical media practices to support NQA’s mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Graphic Design: Design brochures, banners, social media graphics, reports, and presentations aligned with NQA’s branding (colors, fonts, messaging).
- Video Production & Editing: Edit videos for digital platforms, incorporating effects, transitions, and subtitles; optimize content for web, social media, and presentations.
- Photography & Editing: Capture high-quality photos/videos during field visits to project sites; enhance images using Adobe Photoshop/Lightroom.
- Branding & Content Strategy: Strengthen NQA’s visual identity; collaborate on storytelling and creative content aligned with organizational values.
- Media Management: Organize, categorize, and archive digital assets; maintain secure backups and a retrievable media library.
- Ethical Compliance: Obtain written consent for media capture, prioritizing privacy and cultural sensitivity; document consent records.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Photography, Media, or related field.
- 2+ years’ experience in graphic design, video editing, and photography preferably in NGO sectors.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
- Fluency in English and local languages (Pashto/Dari); ability to travel to remote project sites.
