We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to join our hypermarket team. The Cashier will be responsible for handling cash transactions, processing payments, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, good numerical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with purchases.
• Scan products and process payments accurately using cash, credit/debit cards, or other payment methods.
• Handle refunds, exchanges, and price checks as needed.
• Ensure proper cash handling and balance the cash register at the end of the shift.
• Issue receipts and ensure correct change is given to customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Assist customers with inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
• Follow company policies and procedures for cash handling and customer transactions.
• Report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor or store manager.

• Education: High school diploma or higher education.
• Experience: Previous experience as a cashier or in retail is preferred.
• Skills:
  • Basic math, computer skills and knowledge of POS system.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle transactions efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Honesty, reliability, and a positive attitude.
• Languages: Proficiency in Dari, Pashto, and English is a plus.
