Peace, stability and social welfare development organization (PSSWDO) is a local nonpolitical, nongovernmental and non-profitable organization has been established on 14 November 2017. We are a grassroots civil society organization dedicated to protecting and promoting the rights of disenfranchised Afghan women and girls in Afghanistan and to support them for a healthy life.

Job Descriptions:

The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for overall management of the pharmacy activities of our clinic such as Pharmacy Stock, warehouse, stock cards, consumption report, database of medicine and medical supplies in the clinic, ensuring buffer stock, request for medicine. Ensure proper and timely distribution of medicine report about shortage and expiry of medicine. Pharmacy Technician should support medical purchase and ensure the quality of medicine and support procurement officer during drug purchase. He/she should monitor Rational Use of Drug (RUD) and assist psychiatrist in this regard.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish well organized pharmacy Stock.
  • Ensure timely medicine supplies
  • To prepare drug orders in collaboration with psychiatrist and MHPSS consultant and take part in drug review and purchasing committees.
  • Maintain stock cards and database of medicine and medical supplies.
  • Prepare consumption report of medicine and medical supplies as per shared format.
  • Ensuring buffer stock availability
  • Request for medicine and medical supplies
  • Maintain standard and appropriate storage of the medicine in pharmacy stock.
  • Prepare accurate and complete filing systems for all procurement activities to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Maintain a computerized data base.
  • Maintain proper records of the Pharmacy Stock.

Job Requirements:

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Graduated from recognized pharmacy institutes.
  • At least 3 year’s work experience in relevant field.
  • Computer skills (MS-office).
  • Fluent in Dari, Pashto and knowledge of English Languages.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
