• AHDAA is a non-profit making development and charitable organization working exclusively for the welfare, development and the realization of good livelihood among the Afghan poor and vulnerable groups. AHDAA is non-government and non-political or related to such organizations. AHDAA has attracted both national and international resources to develop and rehabilitate the country.

• Participate in the pre-KAP survey to identify most vulnerable farmers who have adequate agriculture land but lack the resources to cultivate it.
• Conduct training for the targeted beneficiaries, providing detailed explanations of soil analysis and recommending appropriate fertilizers and crop management techniques."
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance crop production through effective cultivation, irrigation, and harvesting mechanisms.
• Provide training and technical support to farmers on modern and sustainable farming practices to enhance crop production and effectively utilize the COPEN mechanism
• Conduct field visits to assess famers’ agricultural conditions and provide technical recommendations for improvement.
• Describe soil management practices to monitor plant growth and health throughout the growing season and implement strategies for managing plant diseases.  
• Research and introduce improved seed varieties and farming techniques suited to local conditions.
• Monitor and manage pest control programs and identifying common plant disease which affect the crops
• Prepare timely reports on agricultural activities for the senior management team, outlining the project activities challenges, gaps and recommendations for improvement.
• Policy regulation: ensuring agriculture practices meet national regulation, working with government to develop sustainable policies, assessing farmers about legal and environmental compliance

Language Skills:                Fluent in English, Dari and Pashto

Computer Skills:                Proven working knowledge of Windows XP, Auto Cad, Word and Excel, e-mail communication.

Technical Skills:                At least 3 years’ experience in revelant field.

Team work:                        Ability to work in a team, often under stressful conditions, with both International and national staff.

Communication:                Excellent communication skills in English, Dari and Pashto, Having excellent verbal translation skills, Strong negotiation skills.

Education:                          Bachelor's or Master's degree in agriculture.

Personal Skills:                 

Ability to work without direct supervision.
Ability to work efficiently in situations where tasks and circumstances change and to be flexible and adaptable both in terms working hours and environment.

Cultural Skills:                   Ability to work with persons from differing countries and cultural backgrounds.
