FMIC provides specialized consultations, advanced diagnostics (CT, MRI, radiology), surgeries, a 24/7 pharmacy, and state-of-the-art laboratory testing. It has recorded over 2.3 million patient visits and consultations, conducted 6.8 million laboratory tests, and performed 59,000 surgeries, including more than 5,700 paediatric and adult cardiac procedures. Through its Patient Welfare Support Programme, it has provided over $57.6 million in subsidized or free care, ensuring equitable access to high-quality treatment for vulnerable populations.

Job Descriptions:

a. Regular Responsibilities

  • Perform day to day patient accounting,
  • Supervise daily closing of Integrated Billing Management System (IBMS).
  • Supervise the monthly reports of inpatients volumes and day surgery report for newsletter.
  • Supervise the patient’s admissions, discharges and inpatient billing and provide the inpatient billing estimation and recovery of bills from onboard and discharged patients.
  • Coordinate with the nursing staff / unit receptionist for patient admissions and discharges.
  • Supervise the cash collection from patients and unit receptionist from different locations and ensure to deposit the same on subsequent day.
  • Check all the local / foreign currency receipts vouchers.
  • Supervise the local / foreign currency petty cash disbursements and replenish the same on the consumption of one third of the petty cash fund. 
  • Supervise the monthly billing to various corporate clients by 7th of each subsequent month and also follow up for recoveries.
  • Prepare the monthly schedule of corporate clients by 10th of each subsequent month.
  • Ensure effective communication by PBSD team through training and supervision.
  • Prepare the monthly statement of faculty compensation plan of various doctors individually and paid their component for evening clinics, surgeries, physiotherapy, endoscopies etc according to the institutional policy and procedure by 7th of each subsequent month.
  • Respond and resolve the queries of doctors regarding the faculty compensation plan.
  • Prepare Various analytical reports related to PBSD as and when required by the management.
  • Any other relevant task assigned by the supervisor.

  b. Periodic Responsibilities

  • Preparing the monthly analytical reports to the senior management.
  • Supervise & maintain the monthly statements of compensations, cash consolidated reports.
  • Ensure the monthly general ledger closing on 1st of each subsequent month.

Job Requirements:

  • Good communication, interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work under difficult working conditions;
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills;
  • Individual with special Financial Qualification will be preferred.
  • Experience in Finance will be added advantage.
  • Good computer skills, especially MS Office.     
  • Good knowledge of Accounting.
  • Good Controlling of financial gap.
