HEWAD implements primary health care to needy people of Afghanistan, and within those focuses on the provision of health care to the most vulnerable group, children, and women. HEWAD provides perfect health education, information, and service to Afghans in order to improve their living conditions.

Job Descriptions:

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Observe the rules of the Health Clinic and be liable to duty.
  2. Collaborate in administering, registering, and treating patients in their respective cases
  3. Providing medical and treatment services for patients and diagnosis and treatment in accordance with national standards in SEC.
  4. Basic Service of Diagnosis and Treatment of Outpatient Patients (OPD).
  5. Screen children and PLWs for SAM&MAM and refer complicated cases to HFs
  6. Provide basic maternity care and referrals to the nearest HFs.
  7. Testing and treating STDs and family planning education.
  8. Raise regularly supply request to HWAD relevant program and ensure securing of the center supplies including therapeutic food and drugs.
  9. Conduct health consultation about personal and environmental hygiene.
  10. Prepare and submit a monthly performance report to the line manager
  11. Monitor the work of midwives and active participation in the process of strengthening their
  12. Professional knowledge to improve the quality of work.
  13. Provide individual health education to patients during examination and diagnosis.
  14. Timely identification of incidents and their recurrence and, if necessary, referral to higher levels of health care services.
  15. Efforts to improve the level of professional knowledge and strengthen their professional skills and obtain national guidelines in the field of health services.
  16. A good deal with patients and patients and mutual respect with colleagues.
  17. Perform any other duty in the scope of the JD per the need and when asked for it.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:
1.    Graduated from a recognized medical university.
2.    2 years’ experience in related field.
3.    Knowledge about primary health care
4.    Knowledge about reporting and filling of patients
5.    Familiar with local language
6.    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
