Hamdam Capacity Building and Development Organization is an independent, non-profit, non-political and non-sectarian organization, created at the initiative of a group of Afghan Women in (2022) as an NGO, registered with Ministry of Economy of Afghanistan under registration number (5560).
Since its establishment in 2022, HCBDO has been an active contributor toward the empowerment of the Afghan women in various areas and has implemented various projects throughout Afghanistan.
Our vision is a stable Afghanistan in which men and women will participate actively and equally in helping their country develop and flourish for a better future for their children.
The Hamdam Capacity Building and Development organization is implementing a Gelim weaving project in the Gurziwan district of Faryab province. This project aims to enhance local capacities and promote economic development in the region. The organization is looking to hire a skilled and experienced Project Manager to manage the full implementation of this project. The selected candidate will be responsible for all stages of the project from start to finish, including planning, coordination, monitoring the execution, managing resources, time, and costs, as well as evaluating project outcomes. This project offers a great opportunity for individuals interested in making a positive impact on local communities and driving economic development in the region.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the humanitarian or development sector.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, and risk management.
• Experience in team leadership and stakeholder coordination.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management tools.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Languages: Fluency in Dari, Pashto and English.
• Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
• Familiarity with donor-funded projects and reporting requirements.
Responsibilities:
