New Kabul Bank started its banking activities on 18 April 2011 by having received its license as a commercial bank under banking system of the country. Ministry of Finance is the shareholder of New Kabul Bank.

New Kabul Bank is operating by CBS system and providing services for valued citizens by covering a wide network in more than 116 branches with professional and experienced cadre.

Purpose of the Job:

Basic Function:

1. Follow the laws, rules, guidelines, regulations, policies, and procedures applicable now and from time to time and adherence to the line of authority;

Planning

1. Assist CFO / DCFO / GM / Dy. GM in performing their relevant tasks
2. Assist in the implementation of strategic business plans
3. Assist in developing financial strategies
4. Assist in developing performance measures that support the bank's strategic direction

Operations

1. Assist in the implementation of the budget by approving the budget for all the expense transactions of the bank and ensuring that actual expenses are within budgeted limits
2. Assist in the implementation of Income budget so far as they relate to finance sections and provide recommendations on improving results
3. Recording monthly provisions and receivables
4. Assist in the implementation of the budget by approving the budget for all the expense transactions of the bank and ensuring that actual expenses are within budgeted limits
5. Review all required documents and authorized signatures for expense vouchers
6. Responsible to prepare daily, weekly ALCO reports for DAB and management
7. Preparing surplus funds MIS, NKB exchange rate and reconciliation of Nostrum, Visitor and DAB accounts
8. Tagging and recording the fixed assets
9. Any other task may be assigned by the line managers.

Risk Management

1. Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies
2. Report risk issues to the CFO / DCFO / GMs / Dy. GMs

Supervises: Representatives

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors in Business Administration (Finance) / Bachelor of Commerce
2. Basic knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards
3. Relevant prior experience of a minimum one year with financial institutions (Preferred)
