1. Background
The IPS project aims to enhance the safety, well-being, and development of children and adolescents through improved access to protection services and community-based child protection structures in the provinces of Herat, Badghis, and Farah. WASSA, as a national partner, implements this initiative with a focus on protection, psychosocial support, gender equality, and disability inclusion.
The Case Management Officer is a critical member of the project team, responsible for delivering high-quality case management services to vulnerable individuals, including children, women, persons with disabilities, and survivors of violence. The role ensures that beneficiaries receive timely, appropriate, and effective support optimized to their needs.
2. Scope of Work
The Case Management Officer will identify, assess, and provide optimized support to cases requiring protection services, ensuring adherence to international and organizational standards. This includes developing case plans, facilitating referrals, and monitoring outcomes in alignment with the SHAPE-IPS objectives.
