Background

True and Valuable Aids to Nation Organization (TAVAN) is a registered, non-profit organization officially recognized by the Ministry of Economy of Afghanistan under registration number 5982. Established over two years ago, TAVAN has substantial experience in supporting Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), entrepreneurship, and women’s economic empowerment. The organization focuses on inclusive economic growth, job creation, and capacity building, with proven expertise in implementing donor-funded projects in Balkh and other northern provinces.

Job Descriptions:

Position Summary:

The Marketing Officer will support the design and implementation of marketing and promotional activities for MSMEs under the project. The role includes enhancing product visibility, developing marketing materials, facilitating market linkages, and supporting MSMEs in accessing new customers and markets.

Job Requirements:

Develop marketing plans, promotional materials, and campaigns.
Guide MSMEs on social media and digital marketing.
Conduct market research and identify opportunities.
Organize marketing events and product exhibitions.
Monitor marketing performance and provide reports.
Advise MSMEs on branding and customer engagement.
To perform any other tasks as requested by line manager.
Experience in digital marketing and social media campaigns is an advantage.
Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Knowledge of local market dynamics and business practices in Balkh province.
