ASLO is registered with Ministry of Economy of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. The organization was informally established in 2012 and was officially registered with the ministry of economy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in 2013.  Registration number (2852) was awarded to ASLO through NGOs Department of Ministry of Economy Kabul Afghanistan.

Job Description

The M&E Officer (Field Level) is responsible for implementing monitoring and evaluation activities at the field level to ensure that program objectives are met efficiently and effectively. They collect and analyze data, maintain accurate records, and support program teams in evidence-based decision-making. The role ensures compliance with organizational M&E frameworks and donor reporting requirements.

Major Responsibilities:

  1. Collect, verify, and maintain accurate field data related to program activities.
  2. Monitor program implementation against set indicators and report findings to the M&E and program teams.
  3. Assist in designing and implementing M&E tools, surveys, and data collection methodologies.
  4. Provide support to field staff in reporting, documentation, and adherence to project standards.
  5. Contribute to periodic assessments, evaluations, and learning exercises to improve program quality.
  6. Ensure timely submission of reports and assist in preparing donor-required documentation.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Social Science, Public Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of relevant M&E experience, Data Collection analyst, project performance tracking or related field, preferably in NGOs or field offices.
  • Strong knowledge of Statistics and research tools.
  • Experience working with donor-funded projects is an advantage.
  • Good computer skills (MS Excel, Word, statistic software if applicable).
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
