ARWEO is a nonprofit organization with a visionary focus on the rehabilitation and protection of vulnerable communities in Afghanistan. ARWEO has a strategic goal of assisting the lifesaving and immediate needs of the marginalized population including IDPs, refugees, and host communities in eastern, central, northern and central highlands regions. ARWEO has a history of 21 years implemented 86 projects with 65% of projects in Shelter, education, protection, food security, nutrition, and livelihoods. ARWEO is dedicated to transforming the lives of marginalized children including boys and girls, particularly those with immediate education, protection, and humanitarian needs, and those belonging to IDP, refugee, and host communities in the affected provinces of Afghanistan.
Project Background:
ARWEO is implementing the School Feeding Project (SFP) in Nuristan province seven remote districts—Parun, Bargi Matal, Waygal, Nurgram, Du Ab, Mandol, and Kantiva—ARWEO will distribute High Energy Biscuits (HEB) to children’s enrolled in primary schools and Community-Based Education (CBE) classes. The biscuits will be provided daily during school days to address short-term hunger and improve students’ concentration and learning readiness. in the relatively accessible districts of Wama and Kamdesh, ARWEO will implement the Home-Grown School Feeding (Bread+) modality, which engages local bakeries to produce fresh bread. This component will providing a daily bread ration during school days while also supporting local economic activity.
Job Description
Summary:
The Data Entry and Reporting Officer is responsible for maintaining project databases, preparing regular reports, and supporting monitoring activities to ensure timely and reliable information for decision-making and reporting to the WFP and other stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
- Enter project data related to school feeding activities into databases and information systems.
- Maintain and update electronic and manual records of beneficiaries, schools, and distributions.
- Verify data accuracy and ensure completeness before entry into the system.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for project documents.
- Collect data from field teams, schools, and project staff.
- Review and verify data for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Follow up with field staff to correct errors or missing information.
- Ensure all reporting templates and forms are properly completed.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly project reports.
- Support preparation of reports required by the WFP.
- Support monitoring activities by organizing monitoring data from schools and field visits.
- Maintain project indicators and update monitoring databases.
- Assist the Monitoring and Evaluation team in tracking project progress.
- Coordinate with field staff, teachers, and project teams to collect required data.
- Provide feedback to staff on data quality and reporting requirements.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Information Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in–UN Agencies, INGOs, IOs, Donors
