Job Description
The Cook is responsible for preparing and serving meals, tea, and refreshments for office staff and visitors. The cook ensures that food is prepared in a hygienic manner and that the kitchen area is kept clean and organized. The role also includes managing kitchen supplies, properly storing food items, and maintaining cleanliness of kitchen utensils and equipment to support smooth daily office operations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare meals, tea, and refreshments for staff and visitors as required.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area at all times.
- Properly wash and maintain kitchen utensils, dishes, and equipment.
- Manage and monitor kitchen supplies and food items.
- Ensure proper storage of food and maintain food safety standards.
- Assist in planning simple menus for office meals when required.
- Ensure timely preparation and serving of food.
- Maintain clean drinking water and tea/coffee service for staff.
- Dispose of kitchen waste properly and keep the kitchen organized.
- Follow health and safety standards in food preparation.
- Cook for staff lunch time, including night shifts at the guesthouse when required.
- Washing the dishes and keeping them on the cupboard.
- To consider which all the time have detergent for washing and cleaning the food dishes in the kitchen.
- Purchase food items from the market if necessary.
- Follow up the MHCO Policy
- Make monthly food schedule.
- Any other task assign by line manager

Job Requirements
- Basic literacy (reading and writing) high school is preferred.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience as a cook, preferably in an office, guesthouse, or organization.
- Knowledge of food preparation, kitchen hygiene, and safety standards.
- Ability to prepare meals, tea, and refreshments for staff and visitors.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
- Good time management and reliability.
- Ability to manage kitchen supplies and food storage properly.
- Honest, responsible, and able to work independently.
