Job Description
- Under the direct supervision of Deputy Contract Manager, the Contracts Officer will connect with all activities in the department.
- Manage all the filling system and prepare reports regarding the progress of ongoing projects.
- He will also be responsible to reconcile the project with clients and warehouse to ensure that all the goods are delivered safely.
- Contracts Officer will be responsible for quotations, invoices, reconciliation of the projects and able to visit clients as well as fields.
- Responsible for overall efficiency and effectiveness of processes and activities undertaken to achieve timely supplies to complete the project on its stipulated time period.
- Attend all coordination activities advised by his manager.
- Ensure that all the projects are going with the policy of agreement.
- Daily report to his manager regarding the progress of the projects.
- Ensure that project reports are prepared properly and submitted timely
- Coordinate with procurement manager and agencies for timely supply.
- Direct coordination with provincial colleagues regarding supply requirements of the project.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor Degree is required- BBA.
- Knowledge of accounting and finance.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- High numeracy and sound technical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and an investigative nature.
- Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize.
- The ability to work as part of a team and to build strong working relationships.
- The capacity to make quick but rational decisions.
- Good IT skills.
- Good communication skills - both written and verbal.
- A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data.
- Deadline-orientated and an ability to stick to time constraints.
