Job Descriptions:

We are looking for a motivated and efficient Distributor with expertise in using mPOS (mobile Point of Sale) machines to support the project. The successful candidate will be responsible for the distribution of assistance to the project beneficiaries, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and facilitating smooth transactions using mPOS technology. This role is vital for the effective delivery of assistance to beneficiaries in various locations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify the identity/ration card of beneficiaries using provided documentation or identification methods.
  • Ensure that only eligible beneficiaries receive the distributed assistance.
  • Utilize mPOS machines to process transactions and keep recording.
  • Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded in mPOS and log books.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels before, during, and after distribution.
  • Ensuring standard managing the items in the stock and its safety.
  • Generate and submit regular reports on distribution activities, including transaction records and beneficiary data.
  • Engage with local communities to explain the distribution process and ration size.
  • Address any concerns or questions from beneficiaries regarding the distribution process.

Job Requirements:

Skills/Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, project management or a related field are a plus.

Experience: at least two years working experience in related field preferably in WFP Projects.

Computer Literacy: Excellent working knowledge of MS Office tools. (Preferably MS Excel)

Physical Requirements: Ability to work in various field conditions and in hard to reach areas.

Language: Knowledge of local languages and working knowledge of English.

Strong Communication and problem solving skill is mandatory
