Job Description

  1. Cost Estimation and Pricing:
  • Sourcing and obtaining quotations for Proposals (RFQ/RFP/ITBs)
  • Preparing detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and other project expenses.
  • Collaborating with procurement teams to gather cost information for bidding.
  • Preparing Financial Proposals for RFQ/RFP/ITBs
  • Maintaining a database of cost-related information for future projects.
  • Ensuring all cost estimates comply with industry standards, regulations, and client requirements.
  1. Project Planning:
  • Developing detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Setting project goals and milestones.
  • Coordinating with Management to align on project objectives.
  • Monitoring project costs and ensuring expenditures align with initial estimates.
  • Proposing cost-saving alternatives without compromising on quality.
  1. Team Management:
  • Leading project teams, including contractors, engineers, architects, and site supervisors.
  • Assigning tasks and ensuring accountability.
  • Providing leadership and resolving conflicts.
  1. Budget and Cost Control:
  • Preparing and managing project budgets.
  • Monitoring costs to ensure adherence to budget.
  • Approving expenses and managing financial resources effectively.
  1. Scheduling:
  • Creating and managing construction schedules to meet deadlines.
  • Adjusting timelines based on project progress or delays.
  1. Quality Control:
  • Ensuring materials and work quality meet project and regulatory standards.
  • Conducting regular inspections and addressing any deficiencies.
  • Reviewing and approving materials and workmanship.
  1. Risk Management:
  • Identifying potential project risks and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Managing changes to project scope and addressing unexpected issues.
  1. Communication:
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, and team members.
  • Conducting regular project meetings and providing updates on progress.
  • Preparing detailed reports on project status.
  1. Problem Solving:
  • Identifying potential issues in design or execution and proposing solutions.
  • Adjusting designs or construction plans to accommodate unexpected challenges.
  1. Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensuring that projects comply with legal, environmental, and safety regulations.
  1. Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintaining records of designs, amendments, plans, and project progress.
  • Preparing detailed reports for clients and management, including progress updates and financial summaries.

Job Requirements

Qualification:

  • BSC degree in Civil Engineering, Master degree will be preferred
  • 10 Years experience in Construction and Project Management
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, 3D modeling and Primavera
  • Any trainings in Quality and Safety will be preferred.

Skills Required:

  • Fluency in English Language
  • Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
