Afghan Social Organization for Women (ASOW) is a non-governmental, non-profit, and non-political Afghan national organization established and registered with the Ministry of Economy in 2020. ASOW works for the development of Afghan society, especially women and children through providing education services, arranging capacity-building programs, imparting vocational skills training, ensuring food security, and emergency relief assistance in times of natural or man-made calamities. ASOW aims to improve the socio-economic condition of women throughout the country by providing necessary assistance and designing programs that will equip them with the right skills to take an active part in the development of society.

Job Brief

The Distributor will be responsible for the overall smooth and timely food and cash distribution process.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the proper and final lists of beneficiaries are available at hand;
• Call the beneficiaries and arrange the distribution process;
• Ensure the distribution center is ready for the distribution process;
• Take fingerprints of beneficiaries on the distribution forms;
• Ensure proper verification (Tazkira, Token, etc.,) of beneficiaries;
• Ensure the distribution lists are signed and stamped;
• Ensure fingerprints are clearly identified and neatly placed;
• Ensure distribution lists are clean and orderly and are submitted to the supervisor as soon as they are completed;
• Ensure order during the distribution process and prioritize elders, disabled, women, and children;

Any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience as a distributor or in a relevant field;
• Bachelor’s degree;
• Effective communication with communities, CDCs, and households;
• Respect for customs, cultures, and traditions of local communities;
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills and teamwork;

Honest, proactive, well-behaved, and well-disciplined.
