  • Legal Research:

Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues affecting the company.

Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations relevant to the company’s operations.

  • Document Preparation:

Assist in drafting, reviewing, and revising contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.

Ensure accuracy and compliance with legal standards and company policies.

  • Compliance:

Support the implementation of compliance programs and policies.

  • Litigation Support:

Liaise with external counsel as required.

  • Administrative Duties:

    Manage litigation matters, including coordinating with external counsel. Provide support in legal disputes, claims, and investigations.
  • Corporate Governance:

    Advise on corporate governance matters. Assist in organizing board meetings and drafting resolutions.
  • Legal Research and Analysis:

    Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues.Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the organization.
  • Training and Awareness:

    Conduct legal training sessions for employees to raise awareness of legal issues and compliance requirements.
  • Contract Management:

    Maintain and update contract templates and databases. Negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, and other parties.
  • General Legal Support:

    Provide general support to the legal department and other departments as needed.

Job Requirements:

 

Typically, 3-5 years of relevant experience in a legal role, preferably in a corporate environment or law firm.

Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.

Minimum of 3-5 years of legal experience, preferably in a corporate setting.

Knowledge of corporate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance.

Strong research, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Competencies:

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proactive and able to handle confidential information with discretion.

    • Experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and legal research is beneficial.
