Job Descriptions:

  • Summary of Key Functions

The Scope Registration Officer is responsible to manage the SCOPE registration process, preparation of CBT (Cash Based Transfer) distribution plans. S/he is responsible to provide technical support to the project in the different stages (Data entry, SCOPE registration, CBT distribution and reporting to the project’s donor). S/he in close coordination with SCOPE team and Project Filed Supervisor will try to identify, select, and SCOPE the project participants and upload all the data to WFP system.

 

  • Key relations Reports to:

Project field supervisor, project officer, Provincial Manager, program coordinator, project consortium members, project beneficiaries, CARE internal departments

Duty Locations:

Herat Province with travel to districts (Injil Guzara and Zindajan) and project target areas

     Key Results Expected:

  • Data management officer will be responsible for the registration of all project’s beneficiaries in the SCOPE registration system as per the provided deadlines.
  • Organize comprehensive sessions for the beneficiaries to raise awareness, assist them in registering their biometric data and scope, and guide them through the process of topping up and redeeming their benefits effectively.
  • Collect the beneficiaries' information as per the pre-designed template or as required for the SCOPE registration system.
  • Crosscheck and verify the beneficiaries introduced by community elders CDC members and community members not included in the beneficiaries’ selection process.
  • Crosscheck the information provided by the beneficiaries such as Tazkira number with original Tazkira.
  • Collect and clean quality data including biometrics data from the beneficiaries during the registration process and upload to the WFP database.
  • Ensure the number of assigned beneficiary registration targets are met as per the provided deadline.
  • Verify and issue beneficiaries’ identification SCOPE carts to the registered beneficiaries for the CBT distribution.
  • Ensure accurate data collection based on beneficiary selection criteria and promptly report any issues to supervisors.
  • Coordinate the CBT (Cash Based Transfer) distribution process with project’s donor and FSP.
  • Data management officer is responsible to prepare CBT distribution plan and provide the report.
  • Perform of any other tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • University degree in Computer Science/Data management is preferred.
  • At least three years of work experience in relevant filed is required.
  • Previous work experience with WFP projects will be a bonus for candidates.
  • Able to work under heavy pressure situations.
  • Able to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work on time.
  • Ability to speak Pashto and Dari, English fluency is also required.
  • Fast pace in English language typing/Data entry with higher accuracy is required.
