Program Description:     The USAID funded Urban Health Initiative (UHI) Program’s goal is to improve health outcomes of people living in urban areas, particularly focusing on the health of women and children and other vulnerable populations. Interventions aim to increase demand, access and quality of health services. Lead by Jhpiego and implemented by a dynamic consortium of organizations, UHI is implemented in five cities in Afghanistan – Kabul, Herat, Mazar-e-Sharif, Jalalabad and Kandahar

Position Overview
The Position of Cleaner will be based in UHI priority HFs of Kabul city and will clean the all section of HFs
Position Reports To: Cluster Manager,
 Supervisory position:
 Location: PD 13 - Kabul city
Responsibilities:
 Clean all the rooms of the cluster office including windows, doors, furniture, walls, floor, surface on
a daily basis.
 Clean the washrooms and replace soaps and washing liquid in its designated places on a daily basis.
 Check all bathrooms have clean towel and soap for washing hands.
 Use chlorinated solution in order to disinfect the surfaces.
 Manage properly disposal of garbage in collaboration with admin.
 Receive and keep the cluster office supply.
 Report any abnormality to the supervisor.
 Prepare lunch for the UHI staff at cluster level on the absence of the cook
 Distribution of lunch and tea for staff and guests.
 Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen
 Carry and keep the cluster office supply
 Assist in delivery of supplies to the covered HFs of cluster 13
 Clean the ECHO site and skill lab
 Any other task as assigned by the direct supervisor.

Qualification Required:
• High school diploma is preferable

• One Year experience in relevant field
• Previous experience working for an international NGO is preferable.
• Commitment to organization principles.
• Comply with all relevant organization policies and procedures
