About Community World Service Asia

Community World Service Asia is a humanitarian and development organization, registered in Pakistan, head-quartered in Karachi and implementing initiatives throughout Asia. The Regional Director heads the program in Asia. According to the strategic plan the Head of HR and the Manager HR requires an HR Officer to assist in running an effective HR functions in Community World Service Asia.

Job Description

  1. HRD:
    1. Recruitment & Selection process:
      1. Facilitation in completing SRF, advertising, longlisting, shortlisting of candidates, scheduling interviews & conducting tests (online +In person), Facilitating interview process as required, reference checking, security clearance, onboarding etc.
      2. Maintain Recruitment file with proper checklist and ensure all recruitment related documents are in place.
      3. Facilitation in Orientation plan for new joiners along with relevant supervisors and file completed signed orientation plan within 2 weeks of joining.
      4. Regularly update and share recruitment tracker with supervisor and HOSF.
      5. Responsible for Recruitment of Interns and maintaining renewals of interns’ contracts.
    2. Staff Separation:
      1. Facilitation in Staff Exit process i.e. clearance form, settlement wavier, handing over notes.
      2. Share filled/completed clearance form along with waiver form with supervisor.
      3. Draft experience certificate and get approved from Manager HR/HOSF.
      4. Maintain experience certificate issuance tracker.

 

    1. HR Personnel files and Database Management:
      1. Prepare staff HR file as soon as staff hiring process is initiated.
      2. Maintain proper file with tagging and completed/verified Checklist and indexing.
      3. Enter staff record in HR database.
      4. Keep hard and soft copy of HR personnel file of each staff member.
      5. Facilitation in updating staff record on MIS on regular basis and generate reports as ad when required.
      6. Maintain intern’s database in hard and soft file
      7. Inform supervisor and finance about any updates/changes in intern contractual terms.
      8. Support in maintaining Consultant process in hard and soft file along with tracker in support of supervisor/HOSF.

Job Requirements

Bachelor degree or master degree in Human Resources or any Social Science/Business Administration from recognized university and a minimum of 4 years’ experience relevant experience in humanitarian organization is considered necessary.
