Job Descriptions:

The Community Liaison Officer (CLO) is responsible for managing and facilitating communication between the construction project team and the local community. This role involves ensuring that community concerns and interests are addressed, providing information about the project, and fostering positive relationships. The CLO acts as a bridge between the construction company and the public, promoting transparency and cooperation.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities include but is not limited to:

  • Community Engagement: Serve as the main contact for community concerns and provide project updates.
  • Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve issues between the project team and the community.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build relationships with local leaders and organizations.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Track and report the project’s social impact and community feedback.
  • Support Communications: Assist in creating and distributing project information.
  • Cultural Sensitivity: Ensure culturally respectful interactions and provide cultural awareness training to staff.

Job Requirements:

Minimum qualifications and Experiences

at least 12th grade school degree holders, and with minimum 3 years general experience and 2 years of similar working experience in the field of Health, Safety, Social and environment.
