About Humanitarian Organization for the People of Afghanistan (HOPA):

HOPA (Humanitarian Organization for the People of Afghanistan) a youth lead organization is established by a group of professionals who previously worked in HELP NGO and Mrasta Charity Foundation with a wealth of experience accumulated since 2007, the transition was driven by their deep understanding of the needs and challenges faced by the community, solidifying their commitment to making a positive impact through the newly founded organization. HOPA draws upon the expertise gained from its founding organizations. Focusing on education, healthcare, livelihood, and gender equality, the organization implements programs such as educational initiatives, healthcare services, livelihood support, and advocacy efforts. HOPA collaborates with local and international partners, striving to make a positive impact by empowering individuals, improving access to essential resources, and advocating for social justice and human rights.

Job Descriptions:

  1. Communicate effectively to provide information from staff and beneficiaries about the project's objectives, activities, and procedures via face-to-face discussion, phone, email, or chat
  2. Gather appropriate information about project issues and challenges
  3. Provide technical support for the project's information systems, such as databases
  4. Collect and record data from staff and beneficiaries using the project's tools and formats
  5. Maintain and update the project's records and information in a timely and accurate manner
  6. Prepare and generate reports on the project's progress, performance, and impact
  7. Liaise with other project teams, partners, and stakeholders as needed
  8. Coordinate with other staffs like community mobilisers and food distributors about the implementation of project.
  9. Communicate with moderators and Gender officer regarding provided information and issues related to gender.
  10. Follow the project's policies, guidelines, and standards
  11. Any other task assigned by project officer.

Job Requirements:

  • 12 graduate
  • Excellent communication skills and English Proficiency, both oral and written;
  • Excellent computer skills in word processing and excel.
  • Outstanding team building and management skill.
  • Negotiation and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to make decision and get measurable results through a diverse team.
  • Ability to manage and direct a multicultural and multi-disciplinary team.
  • Time-management and organization skills
