Job Descriptions:

  • The Oilfield Manager will oversee all operational aspects of oilfield activities to ensure efficient and safe extraction of oil and gas resources. This role is crucial for managing the day-to-day operations, optimizing production, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and leading the field operations team.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations Management:

    • Oversee daily oilfield operations, including drilling, production, and maintenance activities.
    • Develop and implement operational plans to achieve production targets.
    • Monitor and analyze production data to optimize performance.
  • Team Leadership:

    • Lead and manage a team of engineers, technicians, and field personnel.
    • Provide training and mentorship to staff to enhance skills and performance.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and ensure effective team communication.
  • Safety and Compliance:

    • Ensure all operations comply with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.
    • Conduct safety audits and risk assessments, implementing corrective actions as needed.
    • Promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.
  • Budget and Resource Management:

    • Develop and manage the operational budget for the oilfield.
    • Optimize resource allocation to improve cost-efficiency.
    • Ensure that all equipment and materials are utilized effectively.
  • Stakeholder Management:

    • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, contractors, and community representatives.
    • Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by stakeholders.
  • Reporting and Documentation:

    • Prepare and submit regular reports on operational performance, incidents, and other relevant metrics.
    • Maintain accurate records of operations, incidents, and safety compliance.
  • Continuous Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities for operational improvements and implement best practices.
    • Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree from a recognized university
  • Over 25 years’ of experience in the oil and gas industry
  • Over 10 years’ oversea experience in the oil and gas industry
  • Over 10 years’ experience in the management of Oil Fields with similar positions
  • Experience of cooperation with/in famous international oil companies
  • Experience and knowledge of production facilities and wells
  • Experience of coordinating all activities between operations and the support sections to ensure operations are  carried out in  accordance with the approved work programs
  • Familiar with the production process and related activities
  • Working Language: English
