Shelter for Life International (SFL) is an international relief and development organization with 40 years of experience in providing sustainable development and humanitarian assistance to countries around the world.

SFL opened its office in Afghanistan in the year of 1998, funded by multiple donors such as BPRM, USG, USDA and WFP. SFL has a rich experience and provides assistance to the following areas; Agriculture Development, Food Security, livelihood and emergency, shelter and population settlement, microcredit, infrastructure development, health and nutrition.

The food distributor is responsible for overall distribution, managing of LNS & WSB, and help with district supervisor to distribute food in proper and smooth way, the food distributor should be responsible to know and manage monthly ration size to each beneficiary and verify the beneficiaries through their documents before receiving the food commodities.

Key Responsibility:

• The Food distributor is responsible to verify the beneficiaries through their documents before receiving food or cash.    
• The food distributor is responsible to know the exact monthly ration size to each beneficiary.
• The Food distributor is responsible measure or scale the food commodities as per the ration size before giving it the beneficiaries. 
• The Food distributor is responsible to ensure no WFP food is lost or misused.
• The Food distributor is obliged before going to the area to make his plan and at the end of the day provide accurate distribution reports to his line district supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned by program leadership.

• At least 3-4 years have experience in related position.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years experience working with non-profit organizations (NGOs)’s with international NGO experience preferred. 
• Excellent knowledge of computer skills
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• Creativity and commercial awareness.
• Fair spoken and written English and Dari, with Pashto an advantage
