About MMRCA:

The Medical Management and Research Courses for Afghanistan (MMRCA) is a national, non-profit, non-political, humanitarian organization established in March 2008 by Afghan Health Professionals and is registered as an NGO with the ministry of economy (MoE) of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.

MMRCA has been implemented SEHAT-II, SEHAT-III and SEHATMANDI (BPHS+EPHS) Projects in Ghazni, Badghis and Faryab provinces. Currently MMRCA has been awarded the Health Emergency Response Projects Badghis, Samangan and Sar- e-Pul since 1st February 2023 and will continue until 29st Feb2024 for Badghis province and until 31th March 2025 for Samangan and Sar-e-Pol provinces.

Through HER Sar-e-Pul project MMRCA has been providing quality health services to the entire population of the province according to BPHS and EPHS guidelines and MoPH policies/ strategies. These services are providing through 3-DHs, 9 CHCs, 20 BHCs, 32 PHCs, one MHT, 5 FHHs and one Prison Health Center. Similarly, HER Samangan has a total of 47 HFs including 3 DHs, 4 CHCs, 14 BHCs, 21 Sub-centers, 1MHT, one prison health center,

Job Descriptions:

Major duties and responsibilities:

• Implementation of all policies and logistic procedures of the institution in accordance with health emergencies in the hospital.

• He is responsible for organizing, providing, maintaining and taking care of all the electrical systems and equipment of the hospital.

• He is responsible for maintaining, repairing and maintaining generators and all electrical devices.

 • Monitoring and regularly visiting electrical equipment and mechanical diagrams of the hospital and noting its defects.

• Requesting shortages of electrical goods as soon as possible and presenting them to administrative management/hospital services.

• Preparation of the report on the consumption of generator oil and lubricants in monthly form and submitting it to the administrative management/hospital services.

• Attending the purchasing process of electrical equipment for the hospital along with the purchasing committee.

• Observing the infection/corona prevention policy and obeying the personal protection policy.

• Carrying out the night shift according to the monthly shift list.

• Regular attendance according to the division of working hours determined by the administrative management/hospital services.

• Performing any other job according to the order of administrative management/hospital services.

• Check and evaluate the power supply networks for the repair of the hospital and its areas.

• Stabilization of power grid destruction areas and estimation of requirements.

• Submitting the network status report to the relevant management for the purpose of restoration.

• Submission of materials prepared for the purpose of repairs.

• Repairing and reviving the electrical network and electrical installations.

• Continuous care of the power supply system in the hospital and related branches.

• Carrying out other things that require the repair of electrical works.

• Repairing and checking electrical devices that are directed by the department manager.

Job Requirements:

1- Having a certificate of graduation from technical and vocational training centers or skills and work experience in the field.

2- The ability to perform tasks according to the relevant technique or profession (complete knowledge of the generator system, air conditioning system, and power supply network in the hospital area.

3- At least three years of relevant work experience.

4- Pashto and Dari skills are required, English is preferable and good communicate.
