Job Purpose:
The DDR (Drug Reduction) Manager will be based at Kabul and roving to Balkh, and Faryab offices and will regularly visit the DATCs (Drug Addiction Treatment Centers) in these regions. S/He will oversee and manage the DATCs team, monitor IMC's (International Medical Corps) partnerships with local entities, and implement MHPSS (Mental Health and Psychosocial Support) / DATCs projects. This role involves providing both remote and in-person support to DATCs Managers, Assistants, MDs, Psychologists, Counselors, Social Workers, and Nurses. The DDR Manager is responsible for achieving DATCs project objectives, outcomes, targets, and indicators. S/He will also support DATCs Managers and Assistants with MHPSS Need Assessments, updating services mapping, adhering to UNODC/WHO guidelines in alignment with MOPH/NDDRD directives, recruitment, development of IEC materials and assessment tools, planning, technical quality control, and reporting.
