Job Summary:

ICT Trainer will be responsible for delivering hands-on training in various ICT fields, such as graphic design, webpage development, artificial intelligence (AI), social media management, and video editing. The training will empower women, providing them with the skills necessary to access job and internship opportunities in the growing ICT sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver specialized ICT training programs in fields such as graphic design, webpage design and development, social media management, artificial intelligence (AI), software engineering, and video/photo editing.
  • Develop detailed educational modules, presentations, and practical exercises for each training course, ensuring alignment with the needs of private sector companies.
  • Conduct both online and offline training sessions for girls and women, ensuring interactive and practical learning experiences.
  • Teach participants how to use popular design and development tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, WordPress, AI tools, social media platforms, etc.).
  • Conduct pre- and post-training assessments to evaluate participants' skills and knowledge.
  • Provide weekly homework assignments and practical projects to ensure skill reinforcement.
  • Guide participants through the development of mini-projects and portfolios to showcase their skills.
  • Ensure that training is practical and focused on real-world applications, such as designing websites, managing social media campaigns, and creating digital content.
  • Organize and oversee final presentations, where students will pitch their mini-projects.
  • Work closely with the Internship and Mentoring Specialist to recommend top-performing students for internships and employment opportunities.
  • Provide ongoing support and mentorship to students throughout the training period.
  • Ensure that training materials and sessions are accessible for students in both urban and rural areas.
  • Track and report on the progress of participants, including attendance, performance, and skill development.
  • Ensure proper visibility of the initiative by contributing to success stories and communication efforts through social and mass media.

Prepare and deliver certificates to graduates at the completion of the training program.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Graphic Design, Software Engineering, or related fields from an accredited institution.
  • At least 3 years of experience teaching or training in ICT-related fields, with a focus on graphic design, web development, social media management, or AI.
  • Proven experience in conducting digital skills training for youth and women.

Familiarity with the latest tools and technologies in ICT, such as design software, AI tools, social media platforms, and web development frameworks
