Job Summary:

The trainer will play a key role in empowering Afghan youth and women by providing them with practical skills and knowledge to succeed in freelancing and remote work. The trainer will be responsible for designing and delivering a comprehensive training program that covers the essential skills required for successful participation in global freelancing platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop a tailored curriculum that focuses on high-demand freelancing skills (e.g., graphic design, web development, digital marketing, copywriting, etc.).
  • Conduct online webinars on freelancing opportunities, registration processes, and the benefits of e-work.
  • Provide hands-on training (both online and offline) to selected Afghan youth and women.
  • Facilitate the creation of freelancing profiles for participants on international freelancing platforms.
  • Guide participants in building strong portfolios, including website development and content creation.
  • Offer personalized consultations to participants to enhance their skills and freelancing success.
  • Conduct pre- and post-program assessments to measure skill development and knowledge acquisition.
  • Provide access to online learning resources for further skill enhancement.
  • Collaborate with private sector companies to identify freelancing and internship opportunities.
  • Help participants navigate freelancing platforms, including Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer, or similar.
  • Ensure participants understand ethical aspects of freelancing, such as client communication, project management, and intellectual property.
  • Provide continuous support to participants as they start receiving freelance contracts and reviews.
  • Monitor and report on the participants' progress, success stories, and challenges.
  • Promote the freelancing program and its success stories through social media and other communication channels.
  • Support the project team in preparing final reports, including lessons learned and recommendations for future interventions.

Fluent in written and spoken English along with working knowledge of Dari/Pashto.
