Job Descriptions:

Community mobilizer is responsible to ensure that the project interventions are implemented in effective and efficient manner and the project goals and objectives are met. S/he works very closely with the targeted communities and groups to identify and mobilize them in support of the project activities.

  • Reports to: Project Supervisor and OR MHT Doctor
  • Actively contributes to The Project to ensure that the project training intervention implemented in effective and efficient manner and the project goal and objectives met.

 SUMARRY OF JOB DESCRIPTION:خلاصه لایحه وظایف

 

The proposed community mobilizer is mainly responsible to support CARE International Mobile Health and Nutrition Teams (MHNTs) field activities in a given/selected area/village (called Service Delivery Point/SDP) regarding;

مسولیت عمده بیسج کننده جامعه پیشنهاد شده عبارت است از همکاری به تیم های سیار صحی و تغذی موسسه پاملرنه در ساحه/قریه انتخاب شده (که بنام ساحه عرضه خدمات یاد میگردد) از قبیل:

  • Support MHNT to organize service delivery sessions in target SDPs in terms of clients/patients flow control/screening
  • همکاری همرای تیم سیار صحی و تغذی راجع به تنظیم جلسات عرضه خدمات در ساحات مورد هدف مانند کنترول و غربالگیری مریضان/مراجعین
  • Conduct health education/community awareness sessions as per MHNT plan and IEC/Health Education materials given by MHNT In-charge/doctor on regular basis for SDP catchment area population and target groups
  • تدویر جلسات تعلیمات صحی و اگاهی عامه به شکل منظم برای نفوس و گروپ های مورد هدف مطابق پلان تیم صحی و تغذی سیار و مواد اگاهی عامه/مواد تعلیمات صحی که از طرف مسول تیم/داکتر داده میشود
  • Maintain close coordination and effective communication with local community elders, authorities and influential to make sure that local community and target groups are informed regarding MHNT scope or work, available services and visiting schedule.
  • تامین هماهنگی و تماس نزدیک همرابا متنفذین/مسولین منطقه برای اینکه مردم جامعه و گروپ های مورد هدف از خدمات, ساحه کاری و تقسیم اقات  تیم های سیار صحی و تغذی معلومات لازم دارند.
  • Responsible for maintaining proper working environment for MHNT in a given SDP including sharing concerns, suggestion/feedback/complaints from clients/community and convey CARE International response and constructive feedback with concerned entities/individuals.
  • مسول تامین یک محیط کاری مناسب باری کارمندان تیم های سیار صحی و تغذی در ساحات مشخص از قبیل شریک ساختن شکایات, پیشنهادات/بازدهی از طرف مراجعین و جامعه و رساندن پاسخ و فیدبیک مثبت/تعمیری به اشخاص و نهاد های مربوطه از طرف موسسه بین المللی پاملرنه
  • Holds the responsibility to facilitate proper place for MHNT staff during field visit/stay in coordination with local community elders and work for possible local resource mobilization.

مسول تسهیل جای مناسب برای کارمندان تیم سیار صحی و تغذی در جریان تدویرجلسات عرضه خدمات و تامین هماهنگی همرابا مسولین/متنفذین منطقه بشمول اماده ساختن شرایط استفاده از منابع محلی موجود.

Skills and Experience:

  • Deep knowledge of the community trainings
  • Excellent training and facilitation and community mobilization skills
  • Having a deep knowledge of Afghan traditions and cultural norms
  • Ability and willingness to work at the communities
  • Proper spoken /written Dari and or Pushto
  • Previous working experience (at least 2/3 years in the communities mainly involved in health education, awareness, community mobilization and other social works
  • Ability to review and monitor activity and record outcomes and learning
  • Minimum working knowledge of English language and computer skill will be a plus point.

 

Education and working experience

Preferably 12th class graduate or equivalent knowledge level (higher education/bachelor degree in public health, Social Science, Disaster Management, Agriculture or any relevant disciplines is plus point).

Languages Skills:

  • Fluency in spoken and written Dari and OR Pashtu is a requirement.
