Job Descriptions:

 The driver directly report to the country security advisor and any report of threat or risk should be written to the country security advisor.   

Job Requirements:

  • The driver should make sure that the defined Movement SOPs are strictly implemented and should report any breach of these SOP by the vehicle users. 
  • Transport the iMMAP Local national or international staff to and from place where official business will be transacted. 
  • Monitor the status and condition of the vehicle under his responsibility and initiates requests for its needed maintenance and repair. 
  • Regularly cleans the vehicle under his responsibility and sees to it that the vehicle under his responsibility is in safe premises, whenever if it is not in use. 
  • Ensuring a quick and safe response to any road emergency, repair, or accident. 
  • The communication of information to other drivers, staff and the country security advisor about road conditions or other safety considerations from the side of CSA and the Security Assistant.  
  • Maintains a record of all trips made as well as the consumption of fuel and other materials used for the operation and maintenance of vehicle and assist in the delivery of outgoing iMMAP documents.  
  • Performs other functions as may be directed by the Country Security Officer.  
  • Performed any other duties which the country security advisor or top management staff is given for them.  
  • Night shift duty is fundamental requirement for this position and the driver must be obverse during the night duty based on the timetable which is given by the CSA or supervisor.  
  • Check the vehicle daily and report to the supervisor incase the vehicle needs something or needs the repairing.  
  • Requirements :

  • High school certification 
  • A minimum of 5 years of non-profit or NGO work experience within international humanitarian assistance programs. 
  • Skill of driving the armored vehicles mainly B6 vehicles  
  • Proficiency in English Dari and Pashto
