About BARAN:

Bu Ali Rehabilitation and Aid Network (BARAN) is a nongovernmental, non-political and independent organization. BARAN has been established in 27.7.2006 registered with the Ministry of Economy (MoEc), Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), Ministry of Education (MoE) , Ministry of labour, Social Affairs, Martyrs and Disabled (MoLSAMD) and Ministry of Women Affairs (MoWA) in order to deliver standard health care, social and educational services including conducting researches. Special attention is given for the community development by promoting capacity building programs.

Job Descriptions:

  • Assisting Logistics team in PMO  for office maintenance of other materials/services and safe storage  needed for the BARAN programs;
  • Be proactive in ensuring that the proposed buildings offices and HFs are completed to the high standards required.
  • Manage PMO offices and HFs maintenance and stocks in accordance with BARAN standards and need (e.g. stock rotation, correct record-keeping);
  • To request any office supplies, hygiene and stationary monthly or quarterly base and submit monthly reports to ling manager;
  • Show willingness, flexibility and enthusiasm to be helpful and supportive to program and other staff, reacting to changing situation with a positive approach.
  • Collecting, compiling and keeping the logistic reports on a monthly bases and preparation of filing system of maintenance activities.
  • Assisting for filing properly as required the supported document for each Maintained and repaired of the project on monthly basis and submit to line manager ;
  • Having supporting and preparedness mission to Health Facilities,
  • Daily vehicle checking and filling the daily check list;
  • Purchasing of vehicle spare parts of purchasing committee;
  • Daily checking of fuel consumption of generators and vehicles and motor bikes.
  • Submitting monthly fuel, generator and vehicles, electricity, solar system and water supply  maintenance and rental vehicle report;
  • Follow up vehicle maintenance in support of Drivers;
  • Having monthly achievements and report to line manager;
  • To carry out any other tasks as requested by line manager.
  • Frequently field/health facilities visit and preparing plan.

Job Requirements:

  1. University degree and at least two years work experience, preferably with NGOs.
  2. Good knowledge and experience of storekeeping techniques, and skills including basic administration and management.
  3. Physically fit and strong.
  4. Able to work independently with little supervision.
  5. Good interpersonal and team working skills.
  6. Excellent computer skills on MS Word and Excel, specially, on database management..
  7. Sound English language skills in speaking, writing, reading and formatting.
