Organization for Community Coordination and Development (OCCD) established and registered with the Ministry of Economy in 2013, is a non-profit, non-governmental, non-political and independent organization. OCCD works in partnership with Government, development and implementing partners in Health, Education, Agriculture and Livestock, Research and Development

Job Descriptions:

  1. Monitoring and Evaluation
  • Develop and maintain a project MEAL framework aligned with AQBE objectives and donor requirements.
  • Lead data collection and analysis processes, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and timeliness.
  • Conduct regular field visits to monitor activities and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Support baseline, midline, and endline evaluations for project impact assessment.
  • Ensure the use of appropriate tools for data collection and management.
  1. Accountability
  • Establish and manage feedback and complaints mechanisms to ensure project accountability.
  • Promote transparency and inclusivity in project activities, particularly among beneficiaries.
  1. Learning and Reporting
  • Prepare and disseminate periodic MEAL reports highlighting findings, trends, and recommendations.
  • Facilitate learning sessions for project staff and stakeholders to enhance adaptive programming.
  • Document and share lessons learned and best practices with relevant teams and partners.
  1. Capacity Building
  • Train project staff and partners on MEAL processes, tools, and compliance requirements.
  • Provide technical support to teams in embedding MEAL practices in their work plans.
  1. Collaboration and Coordination
  • Work closely with program teams to ensure MEAL activities are integrated into project implementation.
  • Represent the organization in MEAL-related coordination meetings, as required.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in MEAL, preferably in education or development
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, Education, Development Studies, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree or certification in MEAL or Project Management is an asset.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing MEAL frameworks, tools, and processes.
  • Strong knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
  • Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, STATA, Excel, or Power BI).
  • Familiarity with digital data collection platforms (e.g., Kobo Toolbox, COMM Care).
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a diverse team.

Note:- There is a three months of probationary period for all staff, Incase the employee fails to fulfill the requirements or completion of given tasks during this period OCCD can end his/her contract immediately.
