…………..Main Responsibilities:

• Manage and operate general surgery cases including CS and emergencies
• Counsel and educate patients in relevant areas of illnesses
• Visit the recovery ward and IPD patients
• Obtain specialized assistance as necessary
• Night duties (15 days/ month)
• Supervise and follow up nursing care of patients
• Provide consultation in case of needs for patients who are candidates for sugary, based on the request of other wards.
• Share knowledge, skill, and expertise with medical, midwifery, and nursing students and all professional staff concerning their job requirements
• Participate in research, professional organization, and related committees and in continuing education opportunities
• Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives; continuous quality improvement initiative; safety, environmental, and infection prevention standards
• Participate in the provision of 24-hour, six-day maternity service, which may require evening, night
• Supervise and monitor all maternity activities in the Hospital
• Identify and report immediately any problem which interferes in the delivery of services or in achieving the program objectives to his/her immediate supervisor
• Participate in PH weekly meetings.

• Graduated from a recognized university as a Medical Doctor
• Having of MoPH specialization certificate
• At least five years of experience in surgery
• Good communication skills (written & spoken) of Pashto, Dari, and basic English will be advantage
• Basic computer knowledge is an advantage
• Able to work independently and under stressful conditions
