•    Site survey for OFC ring, P2P, FTTH Design and customer networks.
•    Making of technical OFC proposals according to survey and share with relevant departments
•    Collect necessary data from field/Data Base for achieving the project.
•    Identify, expose, clarify and solve survey/design issues.
•    Be able to evaluate case by case the best optimal solution of design.
•    Performing multiple tasks of OFC Planning (survey, design, FTTH, approvals, as builds drawing, (GIS, Google Earth mapping).
•    FTTH Planning, OLT location, Feeder and distribution cable router identification
•    knowledge of deferent fiber types, connectors, ODFs, DB..
•    FTTH Box location identification, both in area and map
•    FTTH splitter planning, stages and ratio
•    Fiber link budget calculations, identification and rectification of fiber losses
•    Splicing and ODTR, PON testing 
•    Elaborate detailed documentation (Data Packs) to customer.
•    After approval prepare technical documentation and share reports to relevant departments.
•    Provide technical assistance to Implementation, subscriber installation and maintenance teams.
•    Supervise on a daily basis all the teams in the field, follow them and verify their work.
•    Daily, weekly and monthly reporting to OFC Planning Manager.
•    Support design team in generating detailed network drawings in GIS software while supporting ongoing design needs.
•    Coordinate with the fielding team on specific site visit schedules and data gathering requirements.
•    Evaluate, document and adhere to Client design requirements.
•    Create high level preliminary route design and facility specifics to manage fielding request instructions.
•    Support the team by participating in the mentoring of other new design team members.
•    Provide design lead with updates on progress and roadblocks.
•    Participate in developing process improvement concepts
•    Provide detailed design in GIS based systems
•    Review designs for quality and cost improvements
•    Support design via any jurisdiction permits drawings required
•    Understand project milestones, Monitor status of milestones, and provide regular updates
•    Help maintain project records and files
 

Education: Bachelor Degree in Telecommunication.
Experience: at least (5) years of relevant experience in OFC Planning and designing.

Skills Required:
•    Technical knowledge in FTTH optic fiber network deployment, Planning, troubleshooting and optical project management experience 
•    Strategic thinking / Organization / Method / Anticipation / Respect of Deadlines / Stress tolerance.
•    Discretion and Confidentiality / Coordinate action / Dynamic and initiative / proactively and Reactivity.
•    Expert in MS office
•    Update with all telecommunications equipment
•    Fluent with Pashto Dari and English languages.
